It features a printer pass-through port that can be used to connect a printer to the PC while the home networking adapter uses the PC's parallel port. The Parallel Port Model is easy to install and use on all PCs that meet the listed system requirements. Consumers will find this option particularly appealing if they have an older PC without a PCI bus, or if they prefer not to open their PCs to install new hardware. With the Parallel Port Model there are no hard-to-use ISA slots or hard-to-solve IRQ conflicts. The Parallel Port Model for 2 PCs contains two external parallel port adapters and everything needed to create a home network for two PCs and their printers. The Parallel Port Model for 1 PC contains everything needed to add a PC to an existing home phone line network, or to create a home network when one PC already has compatible home phone line networking capability.
