Airmail India (Bombay)-US Addressed Envelope

Hello up for auction we have from Bombay, India, a used US Addressed hand canceled unstamped envelope. This is a light beige colored envelope. Envelope has been opened on right side when looking at front.

In the lower left hand corner of envelope you have the hand stamped return address from the: Presidency Postmaster, Indian Philatelic Bureau, Bombay G.P.O. India.

On the front of envelope you have hand stamps of Airmail, Lab.- 54 (small) and Indian Posts & Telegraphs Department. The last two hand stamps also are in Hindu above the English translation. On the back of cover you have a circular hand stamp postal cancellation. Inside you can see the time, date, and city: 6 - PM, 15-1-70, Bombay.

The envelope has discoloration around the edges with a stain on front cover.

Envelope measures 9.5" in length and 4.75" in height.
