Better Day Dress
This gown would be suitable for Civil War events, Dickens Events, SASS(Single Action Shooting Society), Renaissance Faires, and Old West or Prarie Impressions.
These gowns really need undersleeves to be worn with them for the true appearance.
The 2 piece gown is made of drapery cottons. The bodice is a gold herringbone, with the skirt being the same mixed with an antique red wallpaper print with gold tones.
The bodice has a lovely jewel neckline with 2 piece coat styled sleeves. It has 4 darts in front and princess seams in the back, for the perfect fit. It has a pointed hemline in front and a back. It has been hand hemmed. It is fully lined and has a button closure down the front with gold metal buttons.
The skirt is 180 inches around. The skirt has been hand hemmed . It has a pleated waist set onto a matching waistband. It closes in the back with a hook and eye closure. It is hemmed to about 44 inches.
The gown itself measures:
waist: 32 inches
bust: 40 inches
