Complete with pressure release valve, (2) brass 1" NPT female ports, wrench, mounting bracket, and our 5 micron, 20 X 4.5" PP Blown sediment filter.

 
We offer these as a complete package then permit you to substitute the filter cartridge or mount so you can purchase what you need for your application.  The needs of a person on well water generally are much different than those on municipal water.  We are willing to work very hard to win your repeat business.  If you have any issues either before OR after you make a purchase, please let us know.  For sales, new items or overstock news add us to your favorites list!

Understanding that all people do not have the same filter needs, we permit the substitution of filters and the addition of other items if you wish to "grow" your system to meet your needs.  While the auction includes a 5 micron sedement filter, we permit you to substitue the following filters for the stated "Option Price".  Of course once you do that you may also purchase additional filters at the always low "Additional Price".

There is no additional shipping charge for filter cartridges, no matter how many extra cartridges you buy.

 

If you purchase a 2nd or more Big Blue housing, you may substitute that sediment filter for any other filter regardless of price for no extra charge - although the shipping on the housing will still be $12.00 - (again, they are very heavy) 

 

For every 3 additional filters purchased, we will enclose a complimentary - a $3.75 savings O-ring.

PP-20-BB 20 X 4.5 BLOWN SEDIMENT

This is the lease expensive sediment filter, but not necessarily the most economical. It will trap sediment greater than 5 microns and depending upon the water usage should last 2 - 3 months
PS-20-BB 20 X 4.5 WOUND SEDIMENT
$26.00 or 2 for $45.00
PURCHASE OPTION: add $11.00

The wound design offers longer life to the filter. This filter will stop sediment greater than 5 microns.
PL-20-BB 20 X 4.5 PLEATED FILTER
$33.00 or 2 for $58.00
PURCHASE OPTION: add $18.00

This pleated sediment filter is probably the best value. It is a 5 micron filter but unlike the other sediment filters, these are reusable after simple rinsing & cleaning.
CTO-20-BB 20 X 4.5 CARBON BLOCK
$39.00 each or 2 for $75.00
PURCHASE OPTION: add $24.00

This Carbon Block filter removes chlorine and other foul tastes through absorbtion. It is not efficient and will have a shortened life unless municipal water or water has been pre-filtered via sediment filter.
GAC-20-BB 20 X 4.5 GRANULATED ACTIVATED CHARCOAL
$39.00 each or 2 for $75.00
PURCHASE OPTION: add $24.00

This filter is comprised of Granulated Activated Coconut Charcoal Like the carbon block, this removes odor and foul smell but has much greater flow characteristics because of the granulation.
REPLACEMENT BIG BLUE O-RING
$3.75 each or 3 for $10.00

These are replacement O-rings and will be needed to occasionally replace worn ones. These fit both the 10" and the 20" Big Blue housings. Advisable to use small amount of food grade silicon lubricant when installing new filters.

We charge $25.00 to ship this item (it is very heavy) and only $12.00 for each additional housing.  You pay no additional shipping for replacement filters ordered when you purchase one or more of these housing.  

 

 We, of course, will also include any "Quick Connect" fittings you purchase from us at the same time for no additional charge. 

 

 We do not offer free shipping because no one gives it to us and we would rather not try to deceive you into thinking you are getting some value you are not. The shipping is always included in the cost, it is not free.
