Staffordshire Plate
Circa. 1800's Staffordshire ironstone plate.

10 1/2" diameter.

Light blue transfer in sort of a calico pattern with handpainted highlights of dark blue tapestry, flowers and leaves of red, green and yellow.

Beautifully hand painted.It is not marked and we do not know the pattern name.

There are 14 sides to the top rim.

This large plate is perfect and has a like new appearance.It has never had any cracks or repairs.

There is almost no crazing.

We see no evidence of any kind of surface wear or utensil marks.

It looks as if it was never used.

It came to us with light staining around the edges.

We have removed all of that browning and it now shows brilliantly.

Beautiful 10 1/2" dinner plate.
