These are night vision not infrared.  You must have at least some light (moonlight, starlight, ambient light from streetlights or a city in the distance).  They will not work in total darkness


These binoculars are great for sporting events, hunting, fishing, camping, bird watching. They are with ruby coated lens, lens covers and a durable Camouflaged finish. They come with a built in compass, Camouflaged nylon carrying case with shoulder strap, neck strap for the binoculars and a lens polishing cloth.

 Q: I am interested in the binoculars, however there is a seller's note that you'll be out of town until 5/30 and I wanted to be sure that it pertained to 2009. Also, are they able to see in total darkness?
A: yes, it was may 2009 i need to revise that out. no binoculars can see in total darkness unless they are equipped with infrared. They all need some form of light be it starlight moonlight etc. They will not work in total... Continue reading

 Q: are they tripod adaptable?
A: if by that you mean do they have a "SCREW HOLE" like the bottom of a camera or camcorder no they do not.
