Beautiful Plaid Day Dress
Civil War Era
This gown would be suitable for Civil War events, Dickens Events, SASS(Single Action Shooting Society), Renaissance Faires, and Old West or Prarie Impressions.
It is a 2 piece gown made of a blue bengaline bodice over a cocoa and blue plaid skirt. It is accented with ivory fringe and braid.
The bodice has a lovely jewel shaped neckline. It has 4 darts in front and princess seams in the back. It has dropped shoulders with pagoda styled sleeves. It has lapels made of the plaid dupioni silk. It has a full peplum. The sleeves, bodice front, and peplum have all been trimmed with fringe. The body is fully lined and has a hook and eye closure down the front.
The skirt is 180+ inches around. It has been hand hemmed and hand pleated on a matching waistband. It closes in the back with hooks and eyes.

bust: 36 inches
