• Damaged Shipments
• All of our shipments are 100% insured. It is very important to inspect your product thoroughly before accepting and signing for your merchandise. Though your box and packaging may appear intact, it is still possible that your product may be damaged. Check for both internal and external damage before accepting delivery. If you notice damage to the product, refuse the package and note the damage on the bill of lading. Please call our customer service department immediately at and we will issue a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. If damage issues arise after signing for the merchandise, you are responsible for filing all claims with the shipper. Therefore a thorough inspection of all packages is important before signing. If your item was shipped via UPS, call UPS at 800-pick-ups with your tracking number to report a damaged item.

• Defective Merchandise
• Most products that we carry include a full warranty of at least one year. If you receive an item that is defective upon delivery and is not due to shipping damages please contact customer support at within 48 hours of receipt. If your item is defective after the first use please contact the manufacturer directly. Contact information for the manufacturer is included in the product literature. (Note: Warranties on mini split air conditioners only include parts and do not include labor. The licensed professional who installs your air conditioner should always provide you with a labor warranty.)

• Product Does Not Meet Your Needs
• Before deciding on the model that you will purchase, carefully measure the area in which your appliance will be placed. It is equally important to know the correct voltage of the outlet that you will be using before purchase. If you receive merchandise that does not meet your needs please call our customer service department at within 48 hours of receipt. Please remember that shipping and handling charges to and from our warehouse are not refundable and all returns are subject to a 15% - 30% restocking fee. We do not accept any returns on air conditioners or special order merchandise. Returned products must be in brand new condition with all packaging, product literature, and blank warranty cards enclosed in the exact condition in which you received them. Any product that has been installed or has attempted to be installed cannot be returned.

General Return Notes and Policies

• In the event of a return, you must contact customer service receive a return merchandise authorization number (RMA).
• You must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your merchandise if your product is damaged or does not meet your needs.
• After signing for and accepting your merchandise, you are responsible for all damage claims.
• AJ Madison reserves the right to refuse all returns.
• All returns are subject to a 15% - 30% restocking fee.
• Returned products will not be accepted unless they are in brand new condition with all packaging, product literature, and blank warranty cards enclosed in the exact condition in which you received them.
• Shipping and handling charges to and from our warehouse are not refundable.
• We do not accept returns on air conditioners and some specially ordered products due to customer error. Please be sure to read all specifications regarding merchandise before purchase and call us with any questions or concerns prior to placing your order. AJ Madison transports our customer's products utilizing the quickest, most economical and secure methods possible. We offer three options depending on the product that you purchase:

• UPS or Fed Ex - For most of our smaller items such as air conditioners (Under 12,000 BTUs), microwaves, and range hoods there are four options please see below.
• • Ground: You should receive this within 1-7 business days after it leaves the warehouse. This is only available within the continental US.
  • Next Day Air Saver: Your package will be delivered by 3:00 p.m. the following business day after we shipped your order. Please call our sales team at to get a quote.
  • Next Day Air: Your package will be delivered by 12:00 p.m. the following business day after we shipped your order. Please call our sales team at to get a quote.
  • 2nd Day Air: Your package will be delivered two-days after we shipped your order. Please call our sales team at to get a quote

  Express Deliveries Notice: You must call our sales team at 1-800-570-3355 to ensure your product is eligible.

• Freight Carrier - Many larger items such as ranges, large refrigerators, air conditioners (over 12,000 BTU), etc. require freight shipment. Transit times are generally 2-3 weeks and there are three options to choose from.
• • Freight Carrier: This includes delivery to your front door and no steps are included. Please check your delivery upon arrival and if you notice any damage please refuse the delivery, note it on the delivery slip and contact us immediately at 1-800-570-3355.
  • White Glove Delivery: White Glove Delivery: This delivery includes delivery to the room of your choice. Please inspect your item at the time of delivery. For a quote, or if you notice any problem please contact our customer service department at 1-800-570-3355.
  • Express Freight: If you need your order as quickly as possible, we are happy to accommodate you. Just call to receive a quote.

Q:Do you ship to APO/FPO mailboxes?
A:There are certain restrictions on exporting certain kinds of technology outside of the United States. These restrictions prevent us from shipping products to APO/FPO mailboxes.

Q:When will my order ship?
A:Processing time - Once we receive a cleared payment, we can process your order. Minimum time is 1 to 2 days to process. Once we process the order, we move your order to shipping status.

Q: Why am I charged Sales Tax?
A: You must pay sales tax if you ship to New York. By law, sales tax is automatically computed on products and shipping charges.
