If you need to replace your Hitachi Camcorder battery, try the LIH13. Designed to meet the original manufacturer's specifications, it is made of Lithium Ion for longer lasting power. For their size or weight, Lithium Ion can store more energy than other rechargeable batteries. Lithium-ion batteries also have a lower self discharge rate. Once they are charged they will retain their charge for a longer time than other types.

The LIH13 battery with 2000 mah capacity is designed for use with Hitachi camcorders. Having a Lithium-Ion chemistry means that it has a higher density than most other type of rechargeables. Lithium-ion batteries will retain most of their charge even after months of storage. They also operate at higher voltages which means that a single cell can often be used rather than multiple NiMH or NiCd cells. This battery has an output voltage of 7.2 volts. It replaces VM-BPL13, VMBPL13A, VM-BPL13A, VM-BPL13J, VM-BPL13J, and VM-BPL27 as well as select Panasonic batteries.
