GEORG JENSEN PYRAMID STERLING BUTTER SPREADER KNIFE

Georg Jensen Towle Candlelight Sterling Pyramid Butter Knife. I inherited this knife from my mother in 1987. The Pyramid design first appeared in 1927. I believe that this was originally belonged to my grandmother in the 1930's-1950's. It is approx. 5 1/2 inches long and has a sterling silver handle. I don't know what the "black" blade is made of (possibly Bakelite plastic, wood, bone etc.). The base of the handle has "Georg Jensen" on one side and "Sterling Denmark" on the opposing side. I think this may be a rare piece of the Pyramid design because in doing research, I have not been able to find any mention of it on the Internet. All the Pyramid butter knives I found had sterling silver blades. Where the blade is "scuffed" a lighter brown color shows through rather than black.

Condition: The knife is in "Fair" condition with a lot of scuffs/scratches and small dents/dings on both the handle and blade. The blade has a very slight upward angle. There could be some other small defects but I could not find any. Please note that the sterling silver handle is actually shiny and not dull as the picture scans show.
