KAMEN ART - TITLED "JOB" Signed

Description: This piece titled "Job" is a drip style modernist semi-abstract expressionist oil painting of with excellent complimentary colors, by Samuel Kamen (1911- ), a listed Brooklyn, New York artist, who also did sculpture and ceramics. This art is similar to the Pollock style of painting.The colors are built up in layers, with the most potent ( lead) colors positioned on the top layer of paint. Painted on heavy paper, which looks like it was taken from a bound art book, is estimated to be Circa 1960's. Though Kamen shows the obvious influence of Pollock, his work is very original.He uses unusual color combinations in all . Signed Kamen, lower left.( See photo) This painting is done with a gouache underlayer as well as oil paint. This painting is signed and unframed. There is writing on the mat underneath, with the word "JOB" so I assume this is the name of the piece. Remember this is an original painting, signed!

SIZE: painting is 18 3/4 x by 19 1/4 inches unframed. Colors are mustard, and charcoal, gold, red, and pale green

CONDITION: Excellent:Paint surface is untouched. No condition issues. It is currently mounted on chip board with clear plastic covering top. Will have to ship flat in order to protect integrity of painting.  WILL HAVE PACKED PROFESSIONALLY TO PROTECT PAINTING.
