Custom made Pickup Truck Dog Leash

If you transport your dog in a pickup truck, please use some form of restraint that keeps him in the truck and away from the side. These are vinyl coated 3/16" cable dog tie-ins for up to two your dogs. I use stainless and zinc coated hardware and I will custom make one to your pickup truck bed's width. Measure the distance between the hooks at the front of your truck's bed. The leads are attached at the middle of the tie in and are also 3/16" vinyl coated cable. They are 6" shorter on each side than the Tie-In to keep your dog safely away from the side of the bed but long enough that he can stick his snout in the wind.

Wondering "why make it out of cable?", here's why. Cable will last longer and if your dog has a tendency to try to free himself or his companions, he can't chew through this one. I used a similar one made of climbing rope for a short while. One day when I arrived at my destination he didn't want to wait and in 3 bites was free. I'm very happy this didn't happen on the freeway. While the photos show the Tie-In attached to a standard collar, I recommend using a harness if possible. Also, if you prefer to use a padlock on one end, let me know and I will omit the snap-hook on one side. The hooks I use on the tie-in must be pulled outward to release and cannot be accidentally undone. The cable crimps on yours will have heat shrinks over them.
