GOLD MINE- Located between 12 and18 miles south of the property is the second largest gold producer  of the low grade ore in the state of California and Gold prices have soared and will continue to soar!! price of a oz was $1048.00 up over $136.00 in the past year. This property was my fathers and I have a letter  that dates bac1994  highlighting the land from a near by owner the mine location is approx 12 -18 miles south:

 

WATER:  Water shed from Chocolate Mountains and Black Hills to the West and Mule Mountain and Palo Verde to the east form a good basin approx 350' deep. A well drilled for property nearby but not on the land was a little brackish at 350; and got a little saltier as it was deepended untill driling through a cap rock at 700; where a very good and plentiful aquifer with clean, soft water.


GEOBEDS: The property is rich with geodes and other rocks and minerals this land comes with a percentage of mineral rights as stated in the legal description. ( when the title a report is  will tell what percentage as I can see it looks like 75% mineral rights, but title will have to confirm.


COLORADO RIVER: The property is located just a few miles to the west of the Colorado River which is being used to irrigate more and more property!


BLM  Bureau of Land Management State of California is restricting recreation and uses on thier public land, and is giving ROW for Solar projects with this making private ownership very appealing!

Imperial County, originally part of San Diego County, was founded August 7, 1907. The area was visited as early as 1540 by Hernando de Alarcon, discoverer of the Colorado River. It was further explored by Spanish explorers and Catholic friars. Settlements existed along the Butterfield Stage Route as early as 1858, but no real development took place until water was brought into the area in 1901.
