The 6 in the serial number is incomplete and not whole. This is a limited Edition Buckle. The buckle is 3.5 inches long and 2.5 inches wide (3.5" by 2.5").

The front of the original box states:

"Manufactured in the UNITED STATES by Texoma Leather & Brass".

The back of the original box states:

"CONGRATULATIONS...on your selections of a fine-cast Texas buckle. You will be proud to wear it for years to come.

Our originals are engravedby Western artist and produced with care. Brass and Gold Plated buckles are hand-cast, using the LOST-WAX PROCESS which pre-dates the Iron age and was brought to our country by old-world craftsmen.

A wax replica covered with fine clay heated to precise temperature and the melted wax is replaced with molten metal. The clay mold is destroyed in the process of recovering the art object.

Every casting is hand cleaned, plated, enamelled and packed individually by our craftsmen. Your buckle was made the old fashion way, with pride in the U.S.A.!!"

Front of the buckle is silver finished with the Texas Flag and Lone Star in enamelled in Red, White and Blue. Also has beautiful scroll work with "I'M PROUD TO BE A TEXAN".

The back of the buckle is Hallmarked as follows: "OFFICIAL COMMEMORATIVE", COPYRIGHT MARK "1986", "LIMITED EDITION NO. 14648" and "TL&B"

This buckle is NEW in the Original Box and has never been worn or placed on a belt.
