How easy is it to install pool fence on your own?

Unlike others who will tell you that anyone can do it themselve, we won't lie to you.  You should be fairly handy and able to follow instructions in order to complete this project properly.  You are also welcome to call us if you have any questions  and we will guide you step by step over the phone.

Does everything come with this product to install?

Yes.  You will receive deck sleeves and caps for each pole included in your fence.  You will also receive brass latches for every section you purchase.  Also, you will also receive a copy of detailed installation instructions.  You are welcome to call us if you have any questions.

What tools are needed to install Safetyguard pool fence?

The most important tool you will need is a core drill and a diamond core drill bit (1-1/8” in diameter). You will also need a pair of  needle nose pliers, hand drill, rubber mallet, tape measure and a few other minor household tools.  You should call your local rental shops to inquire about where to find a core drill that will receive a 1-1/8” diamond core drill bit.

How do you install this product?

We will provide you a detailed & illustrated instruction manual.  In summary, holes are drilled into your concrete surface.  Plastic sleeves are inserted into these holes.  Your fence poles will insert into these deck sleeves snuggly and provide a secure fit for your fence.  Each fence section latches to the next fence section for safety.

How do I make a gate?

There are two ways to make a gate.  The least expensive way is to drill an extra "gate hole" in the patio surface and insert one end of a sectoin into this extra "gate hole" to hold the last 3' of a section open.  If you need a self-closing/self-locking gate to meet code requirements or just want a safer way to access your pool and protect your children then we recommend purchasing one of these gates

Does this product come with a guarantee?

Yes.  We honor all craftsmanship for life.  We use nothing but the best available materials in assembling our pool fence product.  If, for any reason, due to manufacturers defect, you have a problem with your fence, just return it to us and we will either repair or replace your fence free of charge.  Due to the nature of E-bay and shipping charges, you may be responsible for the cost of shipping any products under factory warranty.

What colors are available?  What color is best?

We offer various fence colors including Black, Bronze,Beige, Blue, Green,Bronze and White.  We also offer border and poles in these colors.  Any combination of colors can be custom made at no charge.  Many people ask us which color is best.  One rule of thumb in determing which color to select is based upon what prominent color is behind your fence.  If you have a screen enclosure behind your fence then the BLACK mesh will blend well with your BLACK screening material.  If you have a large amount of foliage behind your fence, then GREEN may be an option for you.  If you have a stone wall or earth tone color behind your fence then BEIGE may be what you choose.  Much of the time it's just a matter of personal preference.
