I would also like all buyers to know that eBay sets our "search standings" by the stars ratings. If any buyer gives us less than the full twenty stars, our search standings will be lowered & we lose sales & money. I understand that eBay tells buyers that a "four star rating across the board is average" but they penalize us if our averages fall below "4.8" stars in all four areas. I always strive to earn all twenty stars from you, but if at any time you feel you must leave me any less than the full twenty stars, please let me know what I can do to correct your concerns BEFORE leaving any less than all twenty stars or neutral or negative feedback. I appreciate buyers who understand and help me to keep my standings up. That helps to keep costs down also which will be passed on to you!!
(in case some buyers do not understand the term: "search standings" it means that when you search for items you want in the "best match" sort term, the sellers with the highest stars ratings appear first. If a seller has a "4.2" average rating across the board, (which would actually be HIGHER than eBay says is average) we could not be seen until you search 100 listings or more. That significantly cuts our sales/profits and makes it almost impossible to continue to sell on eBay. Our fees to eBay also increase. If I have given you good customer service, extra free gifts, free or very low shipping costs and shipped quickly, etc... then all twenty stars are "earned" and will help me to make more sales & lower my prices & those costs are passed onto you!
