Perfect for the country home! You are bidding on a pair of one-of-a-kind handpainted folkart dolls on slate, created by L. Murr in 1998. In perfect condition; no chips in the paint anywhere! This roofing slate was quarried in the Great Smokey Mountains around the year 1900. It is from the Broom family homestead which was renovated on Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee in 1997. Broom had a great love for the Smokey Mountains. He landscaped around his home to reflect his love by bringing trees and foliage that was found in the Smokey Mountains. Each slate measures 8" x 10" and has a length of twine for easy hanging. Quick shipping, including delivery confirmation, to the continental US only; no exceptions. Thank you for looking! |
