With her overt sexual appeal, Betty was a hit with theater-goers, and despite having been toned down in the mid-1930s, she remains popular today. Betty Boop in “The BIG BOSS” (1933) Run time: 7 minutes Betty takes a secretarial job where the boss sexually harasses her; but not without some encouragement from Betty. Betty Boop in “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers” (1933) Run time: 8 minutes An action figure of Betty Boop drops in on a small toy shop; the other toys come to life and crown her their queen. Too bad that there's a big rag doll of King Kong also!!! Betty Boop in “Morning, To the tune of Rubinoff and his orchestra, Betty Boop and feathered friends try to save a baby bird from the booze-swilling Tom Kats Club. Betty Boop in “Betty in Blunderland” (1933) Run time: 7 minutes This episode's premise was taken from Betty Boop in “Crazy Inventions” (1933) Run time: 7 minutes Betty travels to an invention show just full of crazy inventions.
