This auction is for a new 1976 Hallmark “St. Francis Prayer” crewel sampler kit. Kit is complete but has been transferred to a ziploc bag. The sampler features this prayer stitched in blue at the top “Lord, Make Me An Instrument Of Thy Peace” and St. Francis with a dove, a wolf and 2 lambs below the prayer. The sampler is stitched on an 11 ½” x 12 piece of off-white polyester/cotton/ flax fabric. The kit contains design screened on off-white 70% polyester/20% cotton/10% flax linen fabric, 100% Persian-type wool crewel yarn, 100% cotton embroidery floss, needles, embroidery hoop and instructions including design chart. This lovely St Francis Prayer Sampler would make a wonderful accent to embroider for your home!
