CARBIDE ROUTER BIT !!  What the bigger router bit means to you
is no tapering down log ends before you put a tenon on a log. Our basic
Logman Tenon Makers come with our smaller YELLOW router bits.
Look at one of our pictures above that compare the two router bits that we manufacturer.  Our basic model tenon maker comes with the smaller
yellow router bit & smaller diameter funnels in the wood guides & comes
with a red aluminum u-bracket. 

At the bottom of the page we state the max. diameter of the log ends that
you can feed into the wood guides. Because of the bigger funnels in the
wood guides & the bigger router bit you won't have to taper log ends down ,
"this is a real time saver!! If the log fits into the funnel of the wood guide it's
going to get cut down.To put a tenon on the end of a log all you need to do
is push and turn the log end into the hole in the wood guide. Tenon Makers
work just like an electric pencil sharpener,the faster you turn the log the
faster you can make a tenon. The carbide tipped router bit puts a newly
designed  radius shoulder tenon on the end of a log. This tenon was designed
just for the log furniture and handrailing builders. We designed this new
router bit to cut a tenon that has holding power. A tenon has holding power
if some of the shoulder of the tenon can be tapped into the hole you drill in a log.
The LOGMAN 2 was not only designed to cut a tenon ,but it was designed to cut
a tenon that works. NOTE, The LOGMAN 2 black router bit will not work in
our basic LOGMAN TENON MAKER 1. You don't need a vise and you can
make any length tenons,(great for dowelling too.) All you do is put a tenon
on one end of a log flip it over & put a tenon on the other end . That's why
we say : "It's faster than a beaver." One of the photos on this auction show
some of the furniture we are building.

This auction comes with :

 3/16 " thick polished aluminum u bracket that has a pre-drilled hole
pattern on the top that will line up with 70 to 80 percent of all router
bases. The top of the u-bracket won't flex with the weight of a router.

Also 4  of the most popular wood guides for building Log Furniture
& doing handrailing.  We have been building furniture for over 20 years.
 Our wood guides are made of 1/4" thick Black ABS plastic . Your wood
guides will last forever. The material on almost all power tools is ABS plastic.
The router shown in photos is NOT included in this auction.
(I RECOMMEND USING A 2 or more HP ROUTER that has a variable speed WITH A 1/2" COLLET.)
