GREAT BURLINGTON NORTHERN PACIFIC SP&S DVD-R SOME STEAM

Vignettes of the BURLINGTON NORTHERN - Volume 3 takes a look at the 1970's era of the BN in Washington and Montana, as well as pre-merger views of the Burlington, Northern Pacific, and Great Northern.  The first 20 minutes looks at pre-merger CB&Q, NP and GN in the Twin Cities, Montana and Nebraska (including some steam from each!), while the last 40 minutes looks at early BN in western Montana and Washington.  Allentown, PA's Ken Bealer travelled to Washington in 1979 searching for F-units and Alcos, and also found GP30's, SD40's and SD45's, and trains of the Milwaukee, Union Pacific, Weyerhauser Lumber, and electrics on the Yakima Valley Transit.  GN, NP and SP&S territory is covered in Volume 3, and many scenes feature live audio recorded on the scene.  EMD covered wagon fans and also passenger train fans are in for a special treat, as varnish of the Q, NP, GN and Amtrak are also featured, all in Vignettes of the BURLINGTON NORTHERN - Volume 3.  60 minutes.  - Color with live audio, maps, narration, and on-screen titles.
