I am a hobby seller. I buy mostly from auctions & estate sales. 95% of my items are used, antiques or other items I think may be of interest. I do not knowingly list items that are defective. I try to describe everything as thoroughly & honestly as possible. I do not try to clean, repair or restore anything that is beyond my own expertise, leaving that to the buyer however I will do my best to describe what may be needed. It is the buyer's responsibility to ask pertinent questions before bidding, not after receiving the merchandise. If I sell something that is grossly misrepresented through my own lack of knowledge I will give full refund with return postage included. Otherwise most things I sell are as is. I ship within 24 hours or less depending on time of payment except in an emergency or severly inclement weather. I only have a 90 minute window to get to the post office on Saturday so sometimes these items won't be shipped until Monday. USPS Priority is my preference because it is faster, I get free mailing containers from USPS which are better & usually get better handling & postage is comparable on smaller shipments. Parcel post is cheaper on most larger items but it is a little slower. Media mail is even slower. I do not, for any reason, use UPS. On occasion I use Fed-ex ground for large or very heavy items.Once an item is shipped it is out of my control. My DSR rating is important to me as positive feedback.
