This item is a NETGEAR RangeMax Duo Wireless - N Router WNDR3300.  The router is compatible with both PC and Mac and comes with an installation DVD that has instructions for both.  Purchased in May of 2008 and it has been in service since.  Reliable with a strong enough signal to cover the house.  We live in a 80 year old home with plaster walls and even with the router in the basement, the laptops can be used anywhere in the house.  Comes with Installation DVD, Power adapter, upright standard, 5 foot cat 5 network cable.  Also has 4 available network slots for routing peripherals.  It works.  We recently got wireless through our DSL provider and no longer need this one.
