As you can see this piece is a collectors item.

We are selling these along with some East German Army Coats and 1940's ladies cotton drill army jackets.

They are all part of a collection a friend has had in storage for years and years.

You fold your map to the area you want to navigate across and put it under the plastic pvc cover. There is a place for 4 pens or pencils and a wider compartment for a ruler. Then the whole thing clips together with brass press studs. 

This is a great find for any collector of antiques or for an avid orienterer.

Description
A canvas case with a board backing, divided by a perspex sheet.

One side is used for map storage and held shut by clips.

The other side is divided into small compartments and contains various stationery items.

"C. G. Hartley & CO. 1943 " is printed on it and buckles attach a canvas strap for carrying.
