 Up for sale is a used Compaq 2800T laptop (PP2130 series). It boots to Bios and does not freeze. The LCD seems to be in excellent condition exception a few obvious scratches on the cover (see picture). The optical drive misses faceplate but reads CD and DVD without problem (not sure its writing function, so I don't if it is a CDRW or DVDRW or just DVD drive). The battery also misses its faceplate and does not appear to hold charge. The 40 Gb hard drive was tested failure using the BIOS HDD diagnostical tool. Hard drive caddy is in good shape. The included AC adapter seemed damage on the wire but has been fixed and works fine. The black area around palms rest show severe worn, feeling like bad rubber. Some keys of the keyboard feel a bit sticky. But all keys works. The LCD hinges are tight. A genuine Windows XP home COA sticker is on the back of computer. 256Mb of memory is included.

Overall the laptop is poor cosmetically, but it is working Pentium 4 Mobile machine. Since I don't have time to test any other ports and other functions, I sell this laptop AS IS, with no return acceptable. Please bid accordingly. Feel free to ask question before bidding. Thanks.
