 (pictures to follow on 11-02-09) antique meat block from old soda shop in tulsa, oklahoma. Received as wedding gift prob. 35 yrs ago, was approx. 40-50 yrs old then, so about 75 yrs. old now i guess. Had been a meat block in orig general store, then in soda/ice cream shop, in my big kitchens, a buffet table, a coffee table, and lately a garage pc just taking up space, haha. Beautiful 1 3/4" thick slabs of maple hardwood (17slabs), 5 decorative design caps on each end, massive 4" x 4" turned posts as legs, 30" deep x 36" wide x 16" tall without legs, 38" tall with legs. Located in garage in nw austin, texas.
