This is a nice silver 1962 Denver Mint, Franklin Half Dollar. It has been professionally graded Mint State 62 and encapsulated by the prestigious American Numismatic Association Certification Service (ANACS).

 

Weight: 12.50 Gram, 30.6 Millimeter, .900 Silver .100 Copper. Mintage: 35,473,281.

The Coin: A properly graded example, some light tone on the obverse subdues the luster a bit but the reverse is bright, a nice mint state piece overall. Please remember these extreme close up pictures were taken through the plastic. Please see the pictures and judge for yourself.
