Venetian Glass Art Beads in an attractive Y Style Necklace

Red Glass with an attractive combination of shapes and designs. 

The measure 5.00mm - 15.00mm, attached with silvertone wire.  

Beads in good condition with no chips or cracks. 

The necklace measures 18" in length with an additional 2" tassel.  Can be worn shorter with adjustable chain on back. 

They weigh 39 grams.

 

Glass beads have been made for over 5,000 years.  The history of making beads in Venice goes back to the days of Marco Polo.  Beadmaking here, was traditionally woman's work.
