Aloha from Hawaii You are bidding on 1 red and 1 green Hawaiian ti leaf plant. The Hawaiian Ti is a good luck plant rich in Hawaiian lore. The early Hawaiians used Ti to make hula skirts, to wrap and store food, and also as roofing for their homes. It is thought to ward off evil spirits and is a symbol of divine power. It is also a popular ornamental plant. Directions for growth: Trim wax from ends. Place cutting horizontally in a dish with water covering cutting halfway. Change water once a week until roots sprout. When roots are 2" long, transplant in pot with good drainage in sandy soil or other commercial media. Keep soil moist at all times. States on label "NOT VALID FOR ARIZONA." Beautiful leis can be made with the ti plant. Another option, when making a pork roast, rub roast with sea salt and liquid smoke. Wrap roast in green ti leaf and cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees. You just made yourself some Hawaiian kalua pork. Please ask any questions before bidding. All sales final. Buyer to pay shipping cost. PAYPAL PAYMENT ONLY accepted. Payment should be received within 3 days of auction close. |
