Up for auction is a solid teak wood with steel peppermill, made by Nissen, Denmark ca. 1950s for Dansk. It was designed by Jens Quistgaard. It is one of Quistgaards Chess Piece Mills. This one is a new one to me. It is very tough to find. It looks like it was never used. Markings: base branded "NISSEN DENMARK", steel mill stamped: "PEUGEOT FRES LION". Measurments: 5 1/4" tall x 3" wide at the base. Condition: good, no chips, no cracks, only minor signs of use, both original fill plugs complete and have a tight fit. Fresh out of a recent estate!
