This is a 19th Century Antique Queen Anne / Queen Ann Cherry wood lowboy, vanity or dressing table. It is: 30" high, 18" deep, and 30.5 inches wide. It is a very well executed piece that has round pegs and dovetailed drawers. There are two side drawers and one faux center drawer that does not open. It is a great example of an 18th Century Connecticut piece with drop acorn finials. I have owned this piece for about 5 years and have since moved and have no place for it. It is a nice size and can be used in a bedroom as a side table or dressing table or in a hallway as an entry table. Hmmmm.... maybe even a bar. There is a small crack on top that is hardly noticeable (shrinkage). I believe the wood is cherry. It is currently located at my friends shop: Portfolio in Jersey City, New Jersey. I am listing this piece for less than what I paid for it. Any questions - please ask. Shipping to be arranged by buyer and I will assist as much as possible. No handling fee. |
