"A DAY AT VERSAILLES" SOUVENIR TRAVEL BOOK FROM 1927!!!

The cover of this book reads, " A Day at Versailles - Illustrated Guide - the Palace, the Park, the Museum, the Trianons"  This 6.5" x 4.75" booklet was published by Braun & Cie of Paris in 1927 and has a price of 6 francs printed on the cover.  There are 68 pages of black and white text and illustrations and an additional 14 double-sided full-page black and white photos of scenery in and around Versailles.  This is a fascinating glimpse of a time gone by as well as an historical view of a still popular tourist destination. 

The book is in very good condition considering its age.  The last ten or so pages have very small corner folds and the book is colored by age and should be treated delicately.  I have kept this book safely stored in my smoke-free home.
