Automatic Signal Module

With this module connected to your signal you will make your layout seem to have a full automatic block signaling system, without the complex wiring and control systems usually associated with fully automatic signaling.

In operation the module holds the signal at green until a train passes. The train sensor, which is mounted in the track, detects the passing of the train and the signal is set to red for a set period of time before automatically returning to green in readiness for the next train.

The features of the module are:

·         Simple installation

·         Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) mounted in the track

·         Adjustable for light sensitivity

·         Adjustable red on time from approximately 6 to 60 seconds

·         Operates from a 14-16 V DC supply

·         Can control LED signals that are wired for common cathode or common anode

·         No need for separate resistors for the LEDs

·         Train sensor (LDR) supplied
