One Nite Alone...Solo Piano and Voice is a Prince album featuring Prince on piano and vocals with a few embellishments here and there. It was released online in 2002 through the NPG Music Club and was never available in stores. Members who paid the $100 premium membership to the NPG Music Club were mailed this album. Many Prince fans have never heard the album and original copies are quite valuable. One song that caused some controversy amongst fans is "Avalanche", which describes Abraham Lincoln as a racist. The album also contains a cover of the Joni Mitchell classic, "A Case of You", retitled "A Case of U", originally performed live during the recording of Purple Rain the movie in 1983. This album has an intimate tone as it is all Prince at the piano. This album is a must for any Prince collector. Original graphics by NPG included on inserts and disc. All sales final.
