This auction is for all you Mercury guys out there who have been waiting for a Merc to race against them Chevy's & Fords.  You are viewing a custom resin cast HO scale slot car body made by me, the seller.  The body is a replica of a 1956 Mercury 2 dr. hardtop.  The removal of the flashing is up to the buyer and you will have to come up with the type of mounting you'd like.  The wheel base on this car is set up for JL Thunderjet 500 T-jet chassis.  We run these bodies in our Vintage Fairgrounds class which competes against cars like RRR ’55 & ’57 Chevys, JL ’57 Studebakers and my '57 Fords & '58 Chevrolets.  I made this bodies wheel openings for stock T-jet chassis or they can be opened up by the buyer to except larger wheels.  Body is molded in white, high quality resin.  If you'd like a version with all the flashing removed, screw post installed and ready for paint please call the number above or email me at the address above.  Please view my feedback and see what others have said about my castings.  Thanks
