American Standard 36 Seat Heavyweight Diner, kit #3952, new, complete, and unbuilt!!!

 

This car kit is a rare, hard to find 36 Seat Dining Car, that was made several years ago by Am. Std. Kit is complete, unbuilt, (bags of detail parts are still unopened) and never started, so it is pristine. Kit is composed of accurate, highly detailed roof and side castings, along with white metal ends and complete white metal underbody components. The kit also includes additional rivet detail strips, end buffers, diaphragms, window glazing, and decals (less trucks and couplers).

American Standard made many fabulous kits for both passenger and freight, and this one is no exception. When complete, it will create a highly detailed version of prototype Pullman Diner, that when painted, will rival brass in appearance and quality.

This car is correct for MANY Roads that bought and used the Pullman 36 Seat Standard Diner floorplan such as Lackawanna, Erie, Lehigh Valley, B&O, C&O, C&NW, UP, Santa Fe, and many others!
