This traditional 1 cup coffee maker is hand crafted by the Pitre family in the town of Ciales, Puerto Rico. This beautiful piece of are is made of natural wood harvested in a sustainable way from shaded coffee plantations in the mountains of Puerto Rico. Each of these coffee makers is unique. This particular one (light color) is made of a tree named "Capa Prieto" a very common shading tree in Puerto Rican coffee plantations. Each coffee maker comes with the traditional "media de colar" (cloth coffee filter), a hand crafted cup (~3 oz) and half pound of our custom-roasted Hacienda Ana Luisa Shade Grown Coffee. The coffee maker features the word "Cafe" (coffee) on each side.
