Wisdom Quest Books accepts PayPal--the most secure, reliable, and efficient way to protect both buyers and sellers. Items paid via PayPal instant payment are usually shipped next business day, and always within two business days of receipt of payment, except for postal holidays. eCheck orders ship after payment is cleared. Payment is expected within five days of notification of sale, unless other arrangements are authorized in advance. Wisdom Quest Books collects a 7.4% sales tax on shipments within Colorado, as required by law.
Wisdom Quest Books utilizes calculated shipping by weight, and offers generous discounts on combined purchases within five days of the first closed item. There is a nominal handling fee, which is required to offset expenses of shipping materials, as boxes, bubble wrap, tape, labels, and other assorted shipping ephemera does not come free. This fee is charged only once per order, no matter how many items are purchased. To qualify for these combined shipping discounts, the buyer must wait until all Auctions and "Buy it Now" choices are closed before proceeding through checkout, at which time, the discount is applied automatically.
International shipping tends to be cost prohibitive, for the most part, and while I wish it could be otherwise, the amount shown in your respective shipping calculator is the only option available. International customers are also responsible for all associated customs fees, and taxes. This seller operates in compliance with International trading laws and will not comply with any buyers request to falsify customs documentation.
The books offered are usually pre-owned books, and display some signs of usual wear. They are sold in "as is" though perfectly readable condition. I am an independent bookseller operating on several internet venues, and as a rule...badly tattered books rarely make it into my inventory in the first place. If there are exceptions to my normally high standards, of "very good" then this will be noted in the description. The seller is unable to guarantee that a buyer will enjoy the content of a book purchased, though I do provide a synopsis or reviews of titles from independent sources, when available, to assist bidders in expanding their horizons of potential new favorites. Returns are not accepted unless the seller has overlooked some glaring flaw, and made an unintentional misrepresentation of the item.
