Description: This item includes the Tri-Fold Lounger Twin Size solid hardwood frame with an 8 inch fill white twin size futon mattress.
LOUNGER+LOVESEAT+BED=TRI-FOLD The Tri-Fold's unique patented design allows an incredible thirteen different positions, including 8 lounge positions and 4 loveseat positions. The back angle can be set to any of four positions and the foot-rest has swing down legs so that it can be used in the foot-up or foot-down position, additionally the foot-rest section folds under out of the way when not in use. But that's not all, the Tri-Fold also quickly and easily converts to a twin size 10 inch high platform bed by simply folding the back down flat and raising the foot-rest.
THE MATTRESS Our futon mattress has a patented Airlay fibre-foam core which helps the futon spring back to life and retain its shape. The foam core is wrapped in a multiple layer of pure cotton batting which gives the futon a semi-soft yet natural feel. We vacuum-pack and box each futon mattress just before shipping.
ABOUT POPLAR HARDWOOD The Tri-Fold is made of smooth, clean, unfinished poplar hardwood, not pine. Many of the pine frames on the market have a rough splintery feel. Pine averages 18% moisture content, our hardwood is kiln dried to 8%, which means it's far less likely to split or warp.

The frame and mattress are shipped via UPS ground, usually within 24-48 hours. We vacuum-pack and box each futon mattress just before shipping. Other sellers just roll and bag their mattresses which results in a higher risk of shipping damage.
