You are looking at a NEW??? Philips Magnavox DSS WebTv  Remote Control model  RC7974/04 Part# 313914857221 & 483522037097. Remote has been tested and works fine.

Remotes where sold to me as NEW, but are scratched, maybe from being such old stock or from sliding and bumping around in a box with other remotes or from shipping from reseller to reseller. Look to be in the original plastic sleeve. 

No universal remote will operate a Philips DirecTv DSS Webtv so you will need this genuine Philips manufactured remote. Remote uses 2AAA batteries to operate but not included.

Remote retails on all web part sites for $30+ So my remote will save you some money.

This remote was packed with Philip Magnavox WebTv models: MAT972, MAT972A1, MAT972KB, MAT972KB98, THKMA972, PVD1666, MAT972KB99, MAT972SE

Attention!!! Remotes maybe new as sold to me I can't tell, but remotes are scratched & with small chips (see pic) but 99% of the customers that purchased have been happy with the remote because of the price.
