About this nonprofit:
We are here to advocate for our children and to be a resource for families. Our vision is to make every child's potential a reality & to promote "One Focus" through a partnership with parents/guardians, teachers/staff and students. We are the PTA for Alfred Binet School, for students ages 5 to 21 with multiple disabilities. Besides regular education classes, they are also able to learn life skills & work skills to help them become as independent as possible.

This cookbook made and assembled by the students of Binet School in Worklab class

Binet School is located in Louisville, KY and is for students ages 5 to 21 with multiple disabilities

      • includes a section of Picture recipes using Picture It, (great for someone who has limited or no reading ability to help them to have some independence in preparing and cooking food)

100% of the proceeds from the sale of the cookbooks will be used to help pay for the complete renovation of the Life Skills area at school.  The Life Skills Area at Binet School is where the students learn basic everyday living skills such as cleaning, laundry, food preparation and cooking.
