1. What kind of strategy is this?

This is a combination of trend following system and market timing strategy.

2. What are the entry and exit rules?

We use our indicator package (eBay item: 190336732577) plus our market timing research as entry signals. After a position is established, we use profit target based on the volatility and strength of the current trend. We also use stop loss to protect your capital.

3. What is the strength of this system?

Robustness. The system performed very well on the maximum historical data available (past 39 years for some symbol, such as GBPUSD) on 30 symbols across markets. And it continues to perform well in current live trading.

4. Is this curve fitting?

Since it generated more than 15,500 trades in back testing 30 symbols across all markets, curve fitting is less likely. I have never seen a curve-fitted strategy that can work on so many symbols. In fact, optimization itself is curve fitting to certain degree. Some professionals say that a profit factor over 4 is considered over curve fitting. No one, including myself, will try a strategy that generated -$1,000,000 net loss in back testing. This strategy has a built-in fixed stop loss, which is adjustable by users to meet their money management need.

We performed an out-of-sample test against 90 years of data of $INDU, assuming $INDU is tradeable with $100 big point value. Holding 10 contracts, our strategy generated $18 millions hypothetical net profit from 1919 to 2009.

5. Is this open source?

No. The codes are protected with your CustomerID. You can use it on as many PCs with the same CustomerID as you want.

6. Do you offer money back?

Since this strategy is so robust and powerful (you can optimize it on any symbol), all sales are final.
