The Brown Derby Restaurants were
THE place to be seen in Hollywood
of the 1920’s and 30’s.Continuing in
popularity for many decades, anyone who was anyone in Hollywood came to eat, be seen and have their
caricature drawn by one of the resident caricaturists for the Brown Derby “Wall
of Fame”.The most prominent and
prolific of these artists was Jack
Lane who continued to produce drawings well into
the 21st century until his passing in April of 2009.
Before he left us he agreed to
allow us exclusive rights to reproduce his work for your enjoyment.
We have dozens of original drawings
from Jack Lane,
as well as Poncho, Vitch and Zel. Reproductions are printed on fine art paper
in the original 11 x 14 size. Prints are available framed and unframed.
This image of Clark Gable is a reproduction of the original
