Detailed item info
Movie description
This action-packed release celebrates the early years of the spinach-eating, muscle-bound sailorman Popeye. His archenemy Bluto is ever-present, as is their mutual object of affection, Olive Oyl. Sixty episodes covering the period 1933-1938 are included, as is interview footage with animator Max Fleischer.

Editorial reviews
"One of the animation events of the year....[The package] restores 60 classics starring the spinach-eating gob gloriously." -- Grade: A
