Copyright, 1901, by Silver, Burdett & Company.  The Silver Series of Modern Language Text Books, edited by Adolphe Cohn, LL.B., A.M., Professor of the Romance Languages and Literatures in Columbia University. Edited with Notes by A. Lodeman, Professor of German and French in the Michigan State Normal College, YPSILANTI. The book is written in German and the Preface is written in English.

The binding is a little loose and it has water stains on the front and back lower right hand corners. There is a small tear at the top of the spine and the corners are slightly frayed.  There are pencil notations throughout the book, but the pages are all in tact.

There is a folded map of 1901 Europe that was torn out, but is in good condition and the colors are still vivid. Great collectors item!
