With a seat made of burl elm and legs of oak or ash, this stool's origin coube be either England or America ... difficult to say. But as a testament to its age, the burl seat is out of round by a half inch or more (12" with the grain, 11 1/4" against the grain). Overall height is 20 inches (maximum splay of the legs is 13 1/4", 18" disgonal). Moreover, there are NO apologies ... original surface, etc so the pictures tell the whole story. There is no reserve, but buyer pays $25 for USPS shipping. |
