1961 Lincoln Continental - LE - Franklin Mint - NIB

In 1961, Ford Motor Company came out with the Lincoln Continental.  It was totally unique and didn't look like any other car that year.   It had sharp-edged fenders peaked with a continuous chrome strip that ran from bumper to bumper.  It was, to put it mildly, classy, with a formal look that appealed to Presidents.  Both Kennedy and Johnson had several for their private use.  The ’61 Continental was a luxury car featuring luxurious appointments and a great “look” that oozed "rich".

This is the 4th version of the ’61 that Franklin Mint has made.  First was a black one, then a rare white one for the annual Pebble Beach Concourse, then the Vickie’s Gifts Turquoise car and now this terrific Limited Edition Royal Red Poly with a white interior and white removable top.  The interior features a fold down center armrest for front seat passengers.  The engine under the rear-opening hood has all the wires and hoses including the a/c accessories.  In the reverse-opening trunk, you’ll find a covered spare tire.  Undercarriage detailing is great and there’s a full suspension system.

This car is BRAND NEW and has never been displayed.  It is one of only 2500 produced and comes with the Hang Tag and is packed in the Styrofoam liner, Graphics Box and Outer Shipping Box.  Paperwork is still sealed exactly as it came from Franklin Mint.  Don't miss this terrific car you won't be disappointed.
