BROKEN Toshiba Satellite M45 Laptop Parts Repair LCD

This auction is for a used, and NON-FUNCTIONING Toshiba Sattellite M45-S331 Notebook Computer. It is being sold As Is.

Item looks: Lightly used with a couple of cosmetic blemishes. Most notably, the previous owner's name scratched into the top cover. The latch for the top cover is a little loose. And there is a small hairline crack around one of the led lights across the front. Also, the Hard drive cover screw may not be the original, the cover is there and on the machine, but the screw may not be original. Still closes just fine.

Item works: Sometimes boots, sometimes doesn't. It was working just fine, but recently it has started to boot sporadically. You should assume that the machine does not boot.

I'm not sure what's going on with this machine. It has recently started to boot sporadically. Otherwise, it is pretty solid. I think it may be an issue with the Hard Disk, or ram. It may be an easy fix, I'm not sure, it may be more serious. We have some other notebooks around the office, so I don't really have a reason to fix this one. So maybe it's good for repair, or for parts. We make no claims or guarantee as to the longevity of the battery or charger, however they appear to be in reasonably good shape too. Since I have listed this item, I have become aware that within the M45-S331 model type, there are a few different variations in the installed hardware. I am including the model and serial numbers to make it easier to determine parts compatability. The model number is :PSM40U-01R001, serial number is : 55030266Q.
