Strand+Hvass is a design firm based in Copenhagen. Founded in 1998, the firm is run by Christina Strand, MDD. and Niels Hvass, MAA. Strand+Hvass began working for Tranekaer Furniture in 1999, and have created a number of pieces for the company. Carl Hansen & Søn have now taken over marketing of the Tranekaer Furniture range of furniture designed by Strand+Hvass. In future, the furniture will be marketed under the Carl Hansen & Søn brand.

The Straight table is made from solid walnut and metal and is a perfect combination of modern design with traditional materials that would look wonderful in almost any dining or conference room.

This table is new and is in perfect condition, during shipping some of the packing material apparently rubbed against the top of the table creating two faint lines on the table surface visible in the third photo. The table comes with a conditioning oil and these lines may not be visible after the oil is applied.
