This is the original watercolor by J. Ringstrom of the B. Altman Co. New York, interior design department, made to show the president, Harry Truman when they were hired to decorate the newly reconstructed White House in Washington D.C.It measures approx by 18" x 24"not including the mat and is in perfect original condition. This is one of 4 Ringstrom watercolors of various White House rooms I am selling. They were purchased 20 years ago from one of the original designers on the project.This is a close up of the plans for President's desk in the oval office.
